Service Evaluation Studies: Purpose of the Oxon Hill Area Evaluation (en Espa๑ol)
The purpose of this evaluation is to identify the strategic needs for program and facilities; review capacity, productivity, reliability, and quality of service indicators; and recommend changes that will improve service for the Metrobus lines:
In cooperation with Prince George's County and the District of Columbia Department of Transportation, Metro is reviewing these lines to improve service efficiency and coverage. This involves examining overall performance with the aim of improving service reliability, frequency, crowding, travel time, bus stop amenities, and customer communications.

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority(WMATA), in cooperation with Prince Georges County Department of Transportation and the Maryland Department of Transportation, is currently working on an evaluation of Oxon Hill Area Metrobus Routes (Routes D12, D13, D14, NH1, NH3, P17, P18, P19, W13, W14, W15, and W19). As part of the study, a public meeting will be held to present the final recommendations.

The Metrobus Service Evaluation Study for the Oxon Hill area has three main components:
- Reviewing current transit operations and traffic conditions;
- Reaching out to stakeholders, transit riders, and members of the public;
- Developing recommendations and an implementation strategy.
The study team will analyze the input it receives from rider survey respondents and public meeting participants, and prepare a memo that incorporates the results of both.
